The client's main challenge was that their in-service product was not achieving the targeted design cycles, which led to increased maintenance at shorter intervals, leading to an increase in costs.
We were approached to support the client to plan the complex work required to address the problem and to work with the globally distributed teams to deliver their work faster to minimise the product lifecycle costs.

Our Learning
We really enjoyed working on this programme with very high levels of complexity and pressure to deliver significant improvements quickly. On this project we were reminded of the power of engaging and empowering all team members through extensive planning, as well as the benefits of synchronisation of work between teams, allowing them to answer the question “How do we know we have had a good day?" every day.
