The Challenge
Continued loss of market share and profitability due to a 2+ year development cycle and misaligned priorities that over-allocated resources by 250%
Client Case Study | Innovation Flow
Our client is a global industrial equipment leader with major operations across Germany, Finland, and the US. Despite a history of excellence, they faced a critical crossroads.
The business recognised a continued loss of market share and profitability in their aging product lines. Competition was intensifying globally, and the client was rapidly losing its position as a technology leader. With a time-to-market exceeding two years, they were unable to meet the changing technological needs of their customers.
The primary challenge was misaligned priorities. While "Flow Fog" existed, the true damage to the bottom line came from an inability to agree on product strategy across different regions.
Programme ManagerI enjoyed working with the team as we embarked upon our NPI process implementation. I have learned a lot from this experience and with the guidance from P4 I will be able to implement the process and extend the learning to my teams.
Project4 provided the missing piece the client couldn't solve internally: the integration of Lean-Agile principles specifically for Product Development.
Our diagnostic and roadmap phase exposed the critical bottlenecks preventing New Product Introduction (NPI).
